Martha O’Bryan Center’s Family Preschool gives caregivers and their babies and toddlers the opportunity to engage in high quality early learning experiences as a family.
Measuring Our Impact:
Caregiver + child (“2 generational”) classes are provided for families with children 19-36 months as well as 36 months and older. Each class block includes circle time, a literacy focus and related activities. Math and science topics are explored on alternating days to allow more time for depth in subject matter.
Child Care: In addition, drop in “casual” childcare is offered daily for children ages 0-5. Childcare activities mirror the thematic units of the Family Preschool class for each age group. An integrated piece of the Family Success Network, our Child Development Specialists advice our families on healthy child development while also providing the child care that is essential for adults to pursue educational and career goals.
